“Tangle” is about the people who lost their homes in the war and were forced to leave all their memories and loved ones behind. It is also about life and striving to survive on the geographical borders of hope and depression while reaching for all the things that can connect us to this water and land in spite of constantly getting ignored and interrupted.

“MALAKOUT”

 A piano player tries to bring his wife back to life, but the deal awakens the devil inside him.
 
2D parts created and animated in frame-by-frame animation technique by me. The shadows, especially the dreams and nightmares, combined with the rest of the work done using 3D techniques.

“YALDA”

Yalda night or Chellah night is one of the oldest Iranian festivals. This festival was registered as a world heritage on December 9, 1401 as the birth of Mehr (Iranian god). In this celebration, the passing of the longest night of the year and the subsequent lengthening of the days in the Northern Hemisphere, which coincides with the winter solstice, are commemorated. Shab Chele means between sunset on December 30 (the last day of autumn) and sunrise on January 1 (the first day of winter). Iranian families usually prepare and eat together all kinds of fruits on this night, most commonly watermelons, pomegranates, and persimmons. It is also common to read the Shahnameh and tell stories of family elders to other family members, as well as fortune-telling with Divan Hafez. But Cheleh is the shortest night of the year in countries of the southern hemisphere, unlike in the northern hemisphere.

‌A Fabric Child is the story of a young couple who spend their days dreaming of having a child.This short animation is made with 2D frame by frame technique. I was the key animator in this project.
